The Kogi West Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Senatorial primary conducted on Monday ended in deadlock.

The Primary, which was keenly contested saw former lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye scoring 88 votes, while another aspirant, Hon. TJ Yusuf also scored 88 votes.

DAILY POST reports that T. J. Yusuf is presently a member of the House of Representatives, representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal Constituency.

There will be a rerun between the two aspirants today, Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji has emerged the winner of the Kogi East Senatorial Election held at Idah on Monday.

Victor scored 177 votes to beat his closest rivals, Aminu Abubakar 54, Elder Ubolo Okpanachi 42,bwhile ex-Chief of Air Staff, Isaac Alfa scored consolatory 20 votes.
