Monaco midfielder, AurelienTchouameni, has finally taken decision over his future at the club.
RMC Sports reports that the midfielder has rejected Liverpool’s offer and has opted to join Real Madrid.
The French star agreed personal terms with both clubs last week having attracted interest from several clubs across Europe but has now decided to join Madrid.
According to the report, Real Madrid have agreed to meet Monaco’s €80 million (£68.6m) asking price.
Telefoot also reports that the 23-year-old has already told his Monaco teammates about his decision to move to Spain this summer.
He is said to have agreed a five-year contract with La Liga chairman Madrid and is set to be their first marquee signing of the summer.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side missed out on signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain last week.
Mbappe had also agreed a contract with Madrid before making a late U-turn and signing a deal with Paris Saint-Germain which will keep him tied to the French club until 2025.
